Bio


Born in Manacor - Mallorca in 1976.


Graduated in Composition from the Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands, he completed the masters in avant-garde composition at the European Musical Creation Workshop (2009 – 2014) and the Master of Contemporary Composition at the CSMA (Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón) in 2020; in addition, he has done masterclasses in avant-garde composition with José Mª. Sánchez-Verdú, Juan José Eslava, Alberto Bernal, Alberto Posadas, Aureliano Cattaneo, Xavier Carbonell, José Luís Torà, Pierluigi Billone, Bernard Lang, Uli Fusseneger, Voro García, Stefano Gervasoni and Javier Torres Maldonado.


He has been director of the parish choir of Our Lady of Sorrows in Manacor (1996 - 2000), of the Parish of the Santíssima Trinitat in Palma (2000 - 2002) and of the Ars Antiqua Chamber Choir (2001 - 2016). He has been singer of the Capella de la Seu de Mallorca (2016 - 2019) and founding member, singer and musical director of Octoechos Choir (2018 - 2022), with whom he develops a creative activity and disseminates new vocal practices.


Member of the artistic committee of the Meetings Area of ​​the ACA Foundation from 2000 to 2009 founding member, treasurer and artistic programmer of the Commission for the Restoration of the Organ of the Convent of Manacor from 2017 to 2022 as well as producer and director musical of the operas Els Pirates, El Mikado, Ai Quaquín que has vend prim!, La floristeria del pánic, Libera me, E lucevan le Stelle and La violació de Lucrècia (the last three of his own composition). He is currently co-artistic director and co-programmer of the Cas Músic Festival and the MOC Música d'Orgue contemporani), both festivals based in Mallorca, as well as founder, artistic director and musical director of the Green Ice Ensemble.


Winner of the 2001 Art Jove Composition Competitions with "String Quartet No. 1-Digue's foll".

Awarded at the 7th Swedish Sound Show for the work "Les jeunes mamelles".

Awarded by the IEB (2020) with the commission of the opera "Onkalo".

Awarded by the IEB (2022) with the commission of "Nur" For piano four hands and electronics.

First prize for composition "Artists en Herbe - 2023" of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.


He has worked with international soloists and ensembles such as Miquel Bennàssar, Rafel Riera, Nofre Morey, Tania Dovgal, Carson Cooman, Beatriz Tirado, Tomás Alonso, Andreu Riera, Tomeu Moll-Mas, Albert Díaz, Neus Estarellas, Joan Bagési Rubí, Joan Martí- Frasquier, Alexandra Fol, Jan Gerdes, Symphonic Orchestra of the Balearic Islands, Ensemble Espai Sonor, Ensemble l'Itineraire, Morphosis Ensemble, Escolania dels Blauets de Lluc, Music Band of Algaida, Local Band of Son Servera and the Municipal Band of Castellón, among others...


His works are performed throughout Spain, France, Germany, Estonia, Sweden, Greece, the United States, Luxembourg, Bulgaria, Colombia, Chile and Brazil. Part of his liturgical music, both organ and vocal, is also performed at the Seu de Mallorca, at the Memorial Church of Harvard, at the Santuari de Lluc, at the Church of Sant Bartomeu d'Alaró, at the St. James United Church in Montreal (Canada), in the Parish of Sant Pere de Petra, in the Parish of Santa Maria in Flix (Catalonia) and in the Basilica of Saint-Sernin in Toulouse (France).


The recording project of the whole of his work is underway with the record label Cas Músic based in Santa Eugènia (www.casmusicmallorca.com) with which he has published "00.XG" and "01.XG - Work for organ ".
